2. Talk to Killtin, the NPC on the left side, inside the Assassin Guild. Continue conversing with him until he teaches you Throw Venom Knife.

1. After learning Throw Venom Knife and Sonic Blow Level 1, talk to Esmille(the NPC on the right side). She will teach you the skill only after you've completed a task. She will asks you to retrieve a jewel from one of three places in Sphinx B2 or Pyramids 4F. Listen carefully which one of the three jewels Sapphire, Ruby or Aquamarine you need to bring her, or on which map you should searching for something valuable (Sphinx).
Option 1 (Sphinx) Sapphire. In Sphinx B2 go to , where there will be a coffin on a raised platform. Walk up to the platform to activate the dialogue and you will be prompted to make a choice. Depending on what you choose you will be poisoned, blinded, or cursed. Just be persistent and continue selecting and eventually you will receive a Sapphire.

Option 2 (Sphinx) Ruby. In Sphinx B2, the coffin site is at , where you will find a statue with an ornament. It's booby-trapped and will put you to sleep with gas. Again, keep trying and you will receive a Ruby. There is a second stone statue next to this one (half a screen away). Both can be the correct one.

Option 3 Aquamarine. In Pyramids 4F, the gem is located at middle of the left side of the enclosed water area . Keep walking up and down to get an Aquamarine.

2. Return to Esmille with the gem to receive the Sonic Acceleration skill.
