Overview

Princess Richelle wants to own an atelier and become a skilled alchemist. Help her reaching her goal by assisting her throughout her journey.

Keep in mind!

  • If you cancel the brewing progress, the items used for the base are gone.
  • Some of the items used for synthesis can be bought at NPCs, others are monster loot.
  • There are vendors in Sideworld specialized in ingredients for intermediate/advanced recipes.
  • You cannot buy end products for delivery.
  • You cannot make items in advance for delivery. They only count if you synthesize them AFTER getting the customer request for the specific item.
  • Look at your weight and enough space for individual items in your inventory.
  • Have the books and tools always in your inventory when you synthesize. Without them it won't work!
    If you lost or sold the books, you can purchase new ones from the Book Trader at the Magical Tool Dealer in Southern Prontera.

Main Quest

  1. Go to Princess Richelle (prt_cstl00 21, 31) in the prontera castle to start the quest. She wants to own an atelier for her alchemy experiments and is interested in a specific location.

  2. Go to the atelier (prt_vilg02 39, 118) in Northern Prontera and search for Vincent, the owner. Since he wants to sell it, find out what his conditions are.
    Vincent is not there, a sign on the door says to contact him at he Southern Prontera bar.

  3. Meet Vincent (prt_intr01 161, 15) at he Southern Prontera bar. He is drunk and to have a conversation with him, splash cold water at him. With a lot of conditions you decide to return to Princess Richelle.

  4. Return to the Princess to discuss Vincent's conditions for the sale.

  5. Head back to Vincent, who is still in the Southern Prontera bar. In exchange for tutoring your client, the counter offers are

    • Zeny
    • The reference book
    • Mjolnir flowers
    • Research space

  6. Vincent returns to the atelier and wants you to meet him there. But before you can start, he needs you to go to the Magical Tool Dealer (prt_intr01 72, 97) in Southern Prontera and pick up some supplies for him.

  1. With the reference books you return to the atelier and go upstairs where Princess Richelle (s_atelier 65, 123), aka Missy, is already waiting.

  2. Before starting with the first lecture, you have to bring her some items.

  3. Since the synthesized item was not the right one, because she forgot something to add, go and get some more items.

  4. Now follows a lecture on the basics on alchemy. Don't worry if it's too much. You can ask Vincent (who is later standing at the entrance of the atelier) any time you want to review the different topics.
    At the end of this class you will get some books: 40131.png Alchemy Materials Encyclopedia, 40135.png Alchemy Auxilary Guide and 40132.png Basic Alchemy Manual. These include several topics, ranging from a list of items to recipes.

  5. Now you have to synthesize your first items. Click on the cauldron to start.

  6. When you have all the items ready, go to Vincent, who waits downstairs.

  7. Head back upstairs to begin the next lecture, however, Missy's Deviling will cause some havoc and turn Vincent into a poring by accident.

  8. Kellasus, a colleague of Vincent, comes for a visit and will help you to return Vincent to normal. Therefore you need to synthesize the following items.

  9. For successfully synthesizing these items, you are promoted to a G-Rank alchemist and can now take customer requests. You can talk to Lydia downstairs to learn more about customer requests, deliveries and rewards.

  10. Earn experience by completing customer requests, advance through the ranks, and receive rewards for each new level achieved.

  1. After reaching D-Rank you will get the next lecture about intermediate alchemy and get the book 40133.png Intermediate Alchemy Manual which contains all the intermediate recipes.
    You'll get a list of items, that you need to synthesize as well.

  2. Talk to Richelle and after a short conversation she asks you to speak to Lydia.

  3. Back upstairs you'll find Princess Verona, who is in for a short visit and then leaves towards Morocc.

  4. Visit Kellasus' atelier in Morocc (moc_vilg01 34, 56) and you'll find him with Princess Verona downstairs. He will ask you to bring the following items.

  5. After an alchemy lecture (that you can review later speaking with Vincent) you return to Princess Richelle. She immediately requires some materials for the next recipe.

  6. With the successful synthesis of the 40123.png Special Nutrient, you are now able to take on intermediate customer requests.

  1. Now follows the advanced alchemy lecture and you'll get 40134.png Advanced Alchemy Manual (2nd Ed.).

  2. In a letter from the king you find out Princess Verona and Kellasus are missing. Vincent and Princess Richelle want to try a recipe, that can track down their whereabouts. Therefore, they need something personal from Verona.

  3. Go to Princess Verona's chamber and try to get Mochi's cute ribbon. Since he's very shy and hides when approached, the maid suggests to feed him. But there isn't any 40128.png Rainbow Carrot Juice left. So she hands you a drawing of how it looks like and that you should ask Princess Richelle where to get it.

  4. Back at the atelier Princess Richelle is too busy, but Nifhel tries to get your attention. Show him the drawing and he will add a drink, that he wants, followed by a map with a poring.

  5. You find Poring south of Prontera (pro_fild00 168, 87), but as soon as he sees you, he'll ran away. Maybe you need something in your inventory to disguise yourself...

  6. With your brewed disguise of choice come back to the Poring and you'll get to the Poring Atelier. Speak to the Alchemist Poring upstairs and she will tell you what she needs to make Mochi's and Nifhel's food.

  7. You'll get 10 x 40127.png Bloody Rose Juice and 10 x 40128.png Rainbow Carrot Juice. Now you can feed Mochi in order to obtain 40126.png Verona's Ribbon.

  8. Go back to Princess Richelle and feed Nifhel. Then she wants you to go to Juno to look for her sister.

  9. North of Prontera there is a Sailor (pro_fild01 62, 148), that will bring you to Juno for 10.000 zeny.

  10. Kellasus and Richelle are locked in the basement of the atelier in Juno. He will give you a list of items you need to make and instructions what to do with them.

  11. After synthesizing all of them, come back to the atelier. Use the workbench and follow the instructions Kellasus gave you.

  12. Go downstairs and witness what has happened. Lady Erinna will ask you to save Princess Verona and Mildred.

  13. Kellasus temporarily secured Princess Verona's soul in a Poring after the accident in Juno. To stabilize her, you need to brew the following items.

    1 x 40117.png Vessel
    1 x 40118.png Insight
    1 x 40119.png Heartplace

  14. You'll get a 40129.png Harvested Soul and a recipe. Follow it and you'll get a 40120.png Caelum.
    After rescuing Verona you hear a detailed explanation what happened and why. Princess Richelle then declares she aims to be an S-Rank alchemist.
    Now you can take advanced customer requests.

  15. Kellasus sent a letter with a 40130.png Purified Stone of Sage and a recipe he came up with in order to get Princess Verona back to normal. After the 40125.png Philosopher Stone is synthezised, Princess Verona begins slowly getting back into a human. And you will receive the reward for all you hard work.

  1. Since Kellasus mentioned in his last letter, that working with the Philosopher Stone can extend life, you have a slight feeling that you'll be meeting the two princesses again.
    Back in your dimension, you remember Verona talking about her dream of the future when she will be able to move again.
    You find Princess Richelle and Princess Verona living a peaceful life in a cottage near Hugel (hu_fild02 147, 261).
