Overview
The influence of Sideworld allowed the restoration of lost technologies and ecosystems. Fisherline, a long lost fishing group, is getting new members lately, saving it from bankruptcy. An old man in Aldebaran is the last person alive with information about this group.
First Steps
In order to start this quest, you need to finish Sideworld Entrance Quest first.

- Talk to Vatn in , who needs someone to catch the fish that ate her key.
- She will give you a Wooden Rod to catch the fish.
- In order to fish properly, you will need bait.
- Find Byrja in , who will sell you some bait for 300,000z. He will also give you information about Fisherline.
- Return to Vatn and use the bait to fish your target (if you are still lost, check the mini-map).
- With the fish and key, talk to Vatn, who will lead you to your next step (finding Fisherline's location).
- Go to the Fisherline's HQ and talk to Phlox, who will register you if you answer correctly.
- Now you are a member of Fisherline. You will have access to Bait Making, Fish Exchange, some stores and Zaika's fish collection.
The basics of fishing
- Talk to a Fisherline Representative (they may even be found within dungeons).
- Find a School of Fish on the minimap or by yourself.
- Click it with at least a Wooden Rod equipped.
Pay attention to the colors of the marks on the mini-map if you can't identify the type of water source of a place.
- Select your bait.
- Wait for the fish to bite.
- Reel before three seconds have passed.
- Depending on your luck, you will get fish, treasures, or a stone to the head.
Every school has different kind of fish depending on the water source and day cycle.
- Fishing Rods heavily modify the fish you will get.
- Lures are optional trinkets with different effects.
- Using different setups will help you get specific fish.
- Fish traders can be found all around Midgard.
- Aside of the 88 fish traders, you can also do a Fish Collection.
- Zaika, the manager of the Café des Haricots Verts in Prontera North is asking for fish.
- She will reward you every time you finish a category.
